Post-Congress Tours: The post-Congress tours will take place on Friday, returning to Badplaas/Nelspruit in the late afternoon (15:00 - 15:30). Accommodation at Badplaas CANNOT be organised for Friday night, unless you stay for the whole weekend, so aim to leave in the afternoon and stay over on your way home. If you need ideas of where to stay, please contact the Congress Administrator, Freyni du Toit. Attendance on a tour will cost R270, which includes lunch and transport.

Peter Edwards Award 2008: The Peter Edwards Award for the Best Conservation Farmer is presented each year to a land-user situated in the area in which the Congress is held. The Award is presented in recognition of the sound application and practise of the principles of range and forage science and conservation. The aim of the Award is to recognise top land-users in different areas of southern Africa and thereby encourage the wise use of natural resources.
