Project Co-ordinator
Required to support the Project Manager to oversee implementation and monitoring of projects with TFCA`s, which will include providing technical, logistical and administrative support as well as hands-on project and associated financial management.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- project planning and design
- preparation of tender documentation
- project implementation, monitoring and financial management
- Development of project proposals for fundraising as well as report writing to donor agencies
- Assisting with financial planning and budgeting of TCFA projects
- Assisitng with the day-to-day management of staf operational issues
Requirements include:
- National Diploma in Nature Conservation and/or Project Management qualification with a passion for conservation
- Five years experience in protected areas management
- A good command of English, both written and spoken
- Project development and management skills
- Computer literacy with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management
- The ability to prioritise and work on a range of different tasks simultaneously
- The ability to perform in a pressurised, deadline-based environment
- Experience in projects in in a multi-cultural and multidisciplinary setting would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, including good written and verbal reporting skills
- Passport
- A valid drivers licence
