On behalf of the W 1012 (Formerly WERA – 110) Committee for “Improving Ruminant Usage of Forages in Sustainable Production Systems for the Western U.S.”, I would like to invite you to attend the 4th Grazing Livestock Nutrition Conference on July 9-10, 2010, in Estes Park, Colorado. This conference will be a prelude to the annual National American Society of Animal Science meeting to be held in Denver, CO on July 11-15, 2010. Our conference will feature two international speakers, which includes our KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Hugh Dove speaking on the “Assessment of Intake for Grazing Ruminants” and Dr. Stuart McLennan speaking on the “Application of Nutrient Requirement Schemes to Grazing Animals”. Past Grazing Livestock Nutrition Conferences have attracted range livestock professionals from the USA and abroad. We anticipate that the 4th Grazing Livestock Nutrition Conference will be attended by an equal or greater number of participants. Our organizing and editorial committees are working diligently to provide an atmosphere where professionals can discuss, gain different perspectives, develop collaborative opportunities, and define directions of research that would enhance our scientific impact in regards to range livestock production.
