Bushveld Eco Services presents a one-day course on Fire Management on the Farm.
The course includes topics such as:
1. Veld fire legislation
2. Fireline safety
3. Fire behaviour
4. Firefighting strategies and techniques
5. Construction of fire breaks
6. Veld burning as a veld management tool
The presenters are Fred Farvard (DWAF - Working on Fire) and
Frits van Oudtshoorn (Bushveld Eco Services).
The course will be presented in English and Afrikaans.
