Peter Edwards Award
The Peter Edwards Award for the Best Conservation Farmer is presented each year to a land-user situated in the area in which the Congress is held. The Award is presented in recognition of the sound application and practise of the principles of range and forage science and conservation. The aim of the Award is to recognise top land-users in different areas of southern Africa and thereby encourage the wise use of natural resources. Nominations in the Limpopo province are invited for the 2013 award.
Research Skills Workshop 2013
Following on from the highly successful Research Skills Workshops held in 2008, 2010 and 2012, the Grassland Society of Southern Africa together with the University of Pretoria are proud to host the Fourth Research Skills Workshop from 11 to 14 March 2013.
